Teams and Clubs

Thurs, Oct 20th, 2016:

Students in grades 4 to 6 who are interested in trying out for our school's borden ball teams ... please sign up on the bulletin board outside the big gym. Thank you. (coach is Mrs. Broadhurst)

Mrs. Fraser is hosting students who are interested in being part of the school's student spirit division of our PTA group. Room 206 to meet.

Mon, Oct 17th, 2016:

After school gym club will be starting soon. This happens every Wednesday from 3:45pm to 4:30pm. Please see Mr. Westover for permission forms. Hope to see you! (open to students in grades 4 through 6).

Wed, Sept 28th:

Primary Choir Opportunity - (from Mrs. Fuller and Mrs. Schuler)

Attention all grade 1 and 2 students - We are starting a special performance choir. This choir will be preparing for 2 special events that we will be performing at in November. If you like to sing and perform, come join us. Our first practice will be this Friday during 1st recess in Mrs. Schuler's room, # 203. Hope to see lots of smiling faces!

Mon, Sept 26th:

Cross Country Running - coached by Melanie McGee and Jason McLean. Open to all students in grades 4 to 6. This year's meet will take place on Tuesday, October 18th. Location in Kanata still to be determined.

Girls Soccer - coached by LeeAnn Asselstine. Open to girls in the junior grades from grades 4 to 6. Tournament: Thursday Oct. 13 Where: Langstaff Park in Carp

First game begins at 8:30am.
Practices are held Mon., Wed., and Fri. at second recess.

Boys Soccer - coached by Danielle Broadhurst. Open to boys in grades 4 to 6. Tournament: Wed October 12th. Langstaff Park in Carp. First game at 8:30am. Schedule will be provided to players closer to tournament date.

In general, there are a variety of clubs and teams for students to join! Please check with your child or their teacher to see if the club or team is running this year. Some examples include:
